Niki's ASCII Art Page.
My single biggest inspiration in pursuing ascii art was a masterful
(sadly, unattributed) example that I encountered in two different sigs
on Usenet. I found it again later from Bob Allison's superb, now
discontinued "Scarecrow's ASCII Art Archives." It turns out to be the
work of [1]Felix Lee, and the one that I saw in the two sigs is the
third one down from the top of [2]this page. It's the design with a
"4" in it, a cat lying on its side.
So here are my own efforts so far, inspired by Felix Lee and many
others.

That's most of what I've managed so far. I hope you enjoyed seeing

If you *really* are trying to avoid whatever other activities you
have put off to be here ;-), and if you have an image-capable

page. (Yes, the harp has strings. Being mostly transparent
themselves, though, they don't show up too well.) :-D
* (Coming soon.) Once I get my "Links" library reworked, there will
be a kitten-photo of [36]Snowflake in it. The ASCII rendering
above just shows how she got her name, not how she looked. --My
reason for associating her picture with my links library probably
will only be clear to visitors using tables- (and, of course,
image-)capable browsers.
